|Tracy Sullivan, Worship Coordinator|
Aside from being a wife and mother, I know of no other higher calling than being a worshipper. For the Lord to have chosen us to lead the way in His rebuilding of David’s Tabernacle is truly a gift and an honor. I have always had a strong desire to lead others into the Holy Place as a worship leader, but I had no idea where that intense desire would one day take me.
When God gave us the mandate for 7 Days of Praise, I knew that this was something I was preordained to be a part of. I can say without any doubt, that the journey that He brought me along in my 20+ years of ministry had been preparing me for what was required. As a highly relational person, serving as the Tent of David Coordinator allows me to do the things I love the most; developing relationships in the Body of Christ that are a praise unto His name. I count it a privilege to witness the scripture being fulfilled in John 4:23 ”But the hour is coming and now is when the true worshippers will worship the Father in Spirit and in truth, for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” My prayer is that God can find the true worshippers and would allow me to join with them for the sake of His glory and for the edifying of His Body.
My husband Mike and I have been in ministry together serving the Lord through our family for nearly 24 years. God has blessed us with 4 beautiful children: Megan, Luke, Brett & Todd. Megan and her husband Joe have been married since 2015 and they have recently blessed us with little Judah! He is such a joy to have:) Luke and his wife Kathleen were married in 2016 and live nearby. Brett and Todd are in their last years of high school at Tree of Life Christian Schools. Most of my time nowadays is being mom to all these wonderful children, and aside from working occasionally as an RN, I lead worship whenever the Lord calls me out. House of Praise Ministries, based in Columbus, OH is our family ministry, but the Lord has called us for the past 5 1/2 years to be part of Freedom House in Chillicothe. With both of these ministries rooting us and grounding us in the Word and love, there is never a dull moment for our family and I thank God for the blessings they are to us.
